I was fortunate to know Monte through Doug's family, and I will always remember his kindness.
Every time I visited Ohio, one of the things I looked forward to most was seeing Monte. He would always take us shooting in the woods, making sure to bring plenty of ammunition so everyone could have a great time. We shared laughs, stories, and drinks, and he always made me feel like family.
Monte had such a big heart. His warmth, generosity, and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on me. Even while I was back in Korea, every Christmas I would ask Doug, "When are we going to see Monte again?" because spending time with him had become one of my favorite parts of visiting Ohio.
Thank you, Monte, for welcoming me with such kindness and for the wonderful memories I will always carry with me. You will never be forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear of Monte's passing. I did not know him personally but I'm sure we are related down the Stamm family tree. My parents were Owen and Nancy Stamm. My grandmother was Aubrey Stamm. Sincere condolences to the family. Rest in peace Monte
Monte was a kind, caring, and responsible young man with a strong Christian faith. His mom, Tracy, and I went to Middle Bass Island last week in his truck. I believe all he had programmed to listen to was Christian talk programs.
I thank Monte for his military service for our country, having served in Afghanistan, and his most recent deployment to the southern border.
He will be missed by many. I wish comfort and peace for his loving parents, Tracy and Ron, and brothers George and Jesse. May God watch over them. I will never forget Monte. He will remain in the hearts and memories of so many who loved him.
I just loved our love as cousins. We shared so many stories! I love catching up! I loved how different we were but how similar! I just love talking to him and knowing it was always a safe place. I just love and miss him.
