My husband Mike worked with Otto over the years. I was able to meet Otto a number of times and he was always very welcoming. Mike enjoyed joining Otto and Oliver at the Tavern and they would reminisce about the excavation days. Guessing Otto and Mike are up there having a ball. Kindest regards Stacey Blike
Otto was a very loving man. He came to my parent's tavern almost every evening for a few beers. He had a very loving heart. He was a great friend to myself and my family. All My Love, My Dear Friend.
A couple of weeks ago I was thinking of OttoMagic and wanted to stop by and see him, it’s been years. I had no idea he was in a care facility. So, I called his old cell phone and was unable to reach him. I finally called the office and talked with a kind soul who told me he has been in a home for a while. By the time I freed up my calendar to see him he was gone.
So now he’s on the other side giving Bob Durst hell, sipping a cold one and chilling with his Patsy Cline tunes. I just missed that guy, and now I’ll miss that guy. Rest easy my friend.

It's kind of sad when good folk leave this world {in my opinion}, Otto was one of those people. I worked for him in 1995-96 when he owned the "Iron Horse Performance Products" {Don't get this shop name confused with others that are similar}, I left because the other owner put the workers down to working every other day by themselves. Otto wanted me to come back, but I was already at another job. Over the years when we ran into each other we would talk about the old shop & he would ask how my shop was doing etc. I respected Otto & I think he respected me. Take care my friend.

I shared several adult beverages with Otto at the old Twin Lakes Tavern.
I totally enjoyed my conversations with Otto...a very interesting and funny man.
