I remember complaining to Aunt Pat that I hadnt had potica in a while and on a random visit to her and Uncle Bruce she went out of her way to make a traditional potica as well as a poppy seed one which I never had before. We joked about putting butter on the crust seeing as my Mom and I are the only ones in America that hate butter. Thats the beauty of family.
