Patricia V. Besmen, 77 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at UH-Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. Pat was God’s Gift to Us on April 9, 1944, at Grantsville, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Rev. James E. and Odell (Frederick) Wilson. A lifetime area resident, Pat was a 1963 graduate of Aurora High School, living in Streetsboro the past 56 years. A homemaker, she had many interests including gardening, sewing, baking, fishing, and collecting antique furniture. She and her sisters were well known as the “Singing Wilson Sisters.” On September 4, 1965, she married Bruce Besmen who preceded her in death in 2012. Also preceding were her sisters Cora Johnson and Olive Wilson. Pat is survived by her children, Erick (Jennifer) Besmen of Shalersville and Kimberly Dye of Streetsboro; sisters Shirley Damon of North Caroline and Delores Carpenter of Aurora; grandchildren, Dani Cervellino, Lexi Cervellino, Paige Besmen; great-grandchildren, Bailey Hawkins, Harper Hawkins, Westley Cervellino. Calling hours will be Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, 4668 Pioneer Trail at the corner of St. Rt. 44, Mantua, Ohio 44255 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M., where her funeral service will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. Officiating will be Mr. William Thomas. Final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Streetsboro, Ohio.
