Sherry, Much love to you and your family. Ron will always live on in the beautiful art that he created and in the hearts of those who loved him. He touched the lives of so many. Keeping you in my prayers.
Sherry, My deepest condolences to you and your family. I met Ron while playing baseball with him on his fathers little league team when we were about 10 or 11. From that time on through high school and when I would come home on leave, I could always count on Ron as a friend. He loved to show me his project cars and they were fantastic. He was such a talented individual that thought all of his projects through down to the tiniest detail. Although we lost contact, I would always remember him when I saw a 57 Chevy cruising down the road. God must have needed a very special person when He called Ron home. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
So sorry for your loss. He sounds like a wonderful man! My father died of the same thing 34 years ago. He had the aneurysm on Nov. 25, went into a coma and the doctor pulled the plug on the 28th. Thanksgiving has been tough all these years, remembering. I will remember your family each Thanksgiving from now on. Life is not fair, but God knows what he is doing and will give you the strength to bear it. Jean FeichtnerMantua
The last time I saw Ron and Sherry was at the Zoar Harvest Festival. We had done this show together for many years and would go have dinner on Saturday night. This past year at dinner, I never laughed so hard. Ron and Randy had a few Sangrias, well, we all did (but not designated driver Sherry.) The story telling went well into the evening, such a fun, a memorable time. The next day at the show, Ron sold out. He was giddy at the thought of not having to reload his stone carvings back into the truck. Ron always talked about how important it is to do what you love. And he did - he worked hard loving it. How fortunate is that? Most will spend their lives getting by, not liking what they do. Ron was blessed in many ways which may be why he laughed so easily, listened so intently and mastered the craft of masonry carving. This is how I want to remember Ron. I sure will miss seeing him. Sherry, I love you both. See you soon.
Aunt sherry ron was a amazing uncle I will always remember the 4th of July parties and softball games. Along with he love of nice cars I will always remember the good times we had and all the help he gave me with ashley when she was a baby. I love you and my uncle Ron ️️
