Ronald Fedor's Obituary
Obituary
MANTUA
Ronald Scott Fedor, 63 years of age, became Our Gift to God on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio from a Aortic Aneurysm with his loving family at his side. Ron was God’s Gift to Us on August 15, 1958, the son of the late Richard and Roberta (Geiss) Fedor. A lifetime Mantua resident, Ron was a graduate of Crestwood High School in 1976, and was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mantua. For 33 years, Ron was self-employed as a Stone Mason and Stone Artisan. Ron was a man of so many talents that included building his first car, a 1957 Chevy from parts and pieces he received in a milk crate. Following the passing of his parents, Ron designed and carved their monument at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua Township. In 2011, he and Sherry traveled to Las Vegas where he was honored to receive the Landscaping Of The Year award for his creative talents of the monument. Hot Rods, Drag Racing, and baseball were a favorite of his as he, and Sherry traveled the World to participate in these events. Ron truly loved everything his children did, always supporting them and providing guidance and wisdom. Like his father, Ron was always open to talk and share stories with whomever he came in contact with. His wide smile was Ron’s way of greeting people, never knowing a stranger, and able to strike up a conversation with anyone about any topic. While his untimely passing has left a void to family and friends, the memory of Ron Fedor will live on forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. He truly was a remarkable gentleman! On August 25, 1979, Ron married his high school sweetheart, wife Sherry (Bates) Fedor who survives at their home that Ron built. Also surviving are his devoted children, Brandon (LeiAne) Fedor of Ravenna, and Jordan (Breanna) Fedor of Chagrin; his loving grandson Nico, and a lifetime of loyal friends. No calling hours or services. Cremation has been held as he requested. In lieu of flowers, Ron and Sherry were longtime supporters of St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and would appreciate donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 263 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, where condolences and memories may be viewed at www.greenfamilyfuneralhome.com.
