My first memory in this life is of my Dad. Laying in my crib, Dad looking down at me smiling with such love and gently rubbing my earlobe. In that moment I felt so loved and I have felt that love my entire life. He was such a good listener and always by my side through life. My biggest cheerleader when good things happened and my greatest support when I was going through something difficult. His positive outlook always gave me hope and his quiet strength has made me stronger. When I was small Dad had me on a pony, a bulldozer and a tractor before I was 2 years old. He took my brother, sister and I on our first plane ride, our first helicopter ride and taught us how to canoe and saddle and ride a horse. He was adventurous and didnt want us to be fearful. He wanted us to embrace life and experience all we could just as he did. He was very ornery and taught me the joy of a good prank. Always happy no matter what he was doing he was such a joy to be around. It was always nice to wake up to my cheery father. I always told him if I were to go back and be born again I would still choose him to be my Dad. I carry so many lessons with me as I move forward without my Dad. He was such an inspiration in so many ways and I will be ever thankful for all the years we had but oh how I will miss him! I guess he is on his next big adventure. I love you Dad!
I had the privilege of working with Russ in the HBA and the Streetsboro Chamber for many, many years. But more, I had the honor of knowing him as a person. He was one who never knew the meaning of act your age for age was irrelevant. He was the first with a smile, a helping hand and a word of encouragement. He will be missed.
In the short time that I have known Russ, I have found him to be one of the kindest people you could meet. He had the biggest heart and conducted business in an exemplary manner. He's a dream client and someone I feel honored to have known. He will be terribly missed. May the family find comfort amongst each other and friends and may his memory be a blessing.

Russ was a positive image of aging, humor, and friendship.and will stand for a long time as an example of how we should all live.
I always remember seeing and talking to Russ as he mowed his lawn next to my sons property. He was always happy and I enjoyed seeing him. Have good memories of Russ. He will be missed.
